Palm Frond Ceiling Fan Blade Covers

Give your ceiling fan a new look with these palm leaf-shaped ceiling fan blade covers, which also increase air flow. No need to spend hundreds of dollars for a new ceiling fan - just slide these decorative palm "fronds" over the blades of your existing ceiling-fan to instantly create an updated style. Unlike traditional arrow blades, these fan blades are flat and wide so they force air outward. You'll notice better air distribution throughout the room without a strong downward flow. Installation is easy: just slip a cover over each blade and tighten. Palms come as a set of 5; will fit blades up to 6" wide. Available in your choice of Ivory (#10901), Sand (#10902) or Burl (#10903) Each ceiling-fan blade cover measures 15" W x 23" L. Note: This is a set of 5 ceiling fan blade covers only; ceiling fan is not included.

I have had my fan blade covers for a couple years; I like them and I am going to buy another two sets this summer. They are lightweight, so they don't place an extra burden on the fan motor. They LOOK like real wood and considerably improve the look of a standard ceiling fan. We have 5 ceiling fans in our home, 2 with these covered blades. The 2 fans with covered blades have much better air circulation than the other 3 fans.
I dropped the rating from a 5 to a 4 because I think that they are overpriced - even though they are a nice looking and practical piece of molded plastic, they are still just molded plastic and therefore pricey at $130... But, I am planning on buying another couple of sets of the overpriced blades because I can't find anything comparable for less.

These fan blades were advertised as increasing the air circulation of your ceiling fan as well as updating it. The opposite is true. They diminish the air flow. By quite a bit. I would return them but I already burned the box they came in. They look better than the fan blades on my fan from a distance...but they are thin plastic an not worth the price. Too high a price for the quality. Wish I would not have ordered them. Waste of good money.
